    Itinerary

    Day 01 : Arrive in Mumbai

    Welcome to India; the land of Million Gods!
    You are welcomed at the airport by our tour executive and transferred to your hotel
    near the airport. Normal check in at hotels @ 1400Hrs. Early check in subject to availability. Most flights arrive either in the evening or early morning. We can book your accommodation from previous day to ensure immediate check in.
    Afternoon, proceed to explore Mumbai. The tour begins at the Prince of Wales Museum, built to commemorate King George V first visit to India in 1905. Designed in the Indo-Saracenic style, has sections of art, paintings, archaeology, and natural history dating back from 18 to 19th century. “The Gateway of India” Mumbai’s foremost landmark overlooking the harbour, was conceived following the visit of King George V in 1911 and officially opened in 1924. A drive up to the Malabar Hill, to the hanging gardens, gives a panorama view of the city – the Marine Drive. The tour concludes with a drive through the Flora Fountain and Fort area and view the Gothic and Victorian style buildings. Visit the Victoria Terminus (now known as Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus – CST) India’s finest Gothic building and a bustling Railway Station. Continue to drive around the Horniman Circle and visit the Town Hall, right beside the docks.

    Day 02 : Mumbai – Rajkot – Gir National Park (ASIATIC LION PARK)

    Board the morning flight to Rajkot. You are welcomed at airport and transferred to your lodge in Gir.

    Day 03 & 04 : Gir National Park
    Morning and afternoon, private excursion to explore Gir National Park.
    Day 05 : Gir - Rajkot – Delhi

    Morning, private excursion to Gir National Park.

    Transferred to Rajkot airport on time to connect flight to Delhi.

    Day 06 : Delhi – Agra
    Board your (0810-0950Hrs) express train to Agra. Upon arrival, proceed to explore Agra with your guide. Visit to the famous tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, built by Mughal Emperor Jehangir’s queen as a memorial to her father. Later visit the red sandstone fort – Agra Fort built in 1565 by Mughal ruler Emperor Akbar. Check into your hotel after the tour. Visit one of The Seven Wonders of World – The Taj Mahal, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Taj Mahal was completed by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 as a memorial to his beloved queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Explore this beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble which took 22 years and 22000 craftsmen to build.

    Day 07 : Agra – Panna (Tiger Reserve)

    transferred to Panna Tiger Reserve. Check into your lodge.

    Afternoon, excursion to Khajuraho, tour the famous Chandela Dynasty temples which are set in a lovely grassy park in the afternoon. These temples are amazing – rising in many peaks and spirals, intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes. These temples are also known for their renowned erotic carvings.

    Day 08 : Panna
    Enjoy morning and evening exclusive jeep safaris through the reserve. Panna Tiger Reserve is spread over 576sq Kms. is home to tiger, Cheeta, Sambar, Wild boar, Jackal etc.
    Day 09 : Panna – Bandhavgarh (Tiger Park)

    Proceed to Bandhavgarh NP and check into your lodge. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for Bengal Tiger population. The park is also home to Asiatic Elephants, Wild Boars, Sloth Bears, Jackals and many other wildlife, besides Eagle, Vultures and variety of migratory birds.

    Afternoon, exclusive jeep safari through the park.

    Day 10 : Bandhavgarh National Park

    Proceed to Bandhavgarh NP and check into your lodge. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for Bengal Tiger population. The park is also home to Asiatic Elephants, Wild Boars, Sloth Bears, Jackals and many other wildlife, besides Eagle, Vultures and variety of migratory birds.

    Afternoon, exclusive jeep safari through the park.

    Day 11 : Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho – Delhi
    Check out from the hotel; you are then driven to Khajuraho airport; board your afternoon flight to Delhi and check into hotel.
    Day 12 : Delhi – Onward flight

    Start your sightseeing tour of Delhi, accompanied by your local guide. Drive past the Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan (1639-48), the creator of The Taj Mahal. Then visit Raj Ghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue to the Qutab Minar (1193 AD), a striking medieval 73 m. high tower of victory built by the slave dynasty. Within the Qutab complex, amidst the ruins of Quwat-ul-Islam Mosque stands the Iron pillar which has stood the vagaries of weather and has not rested over 1500 years. Later visit the Mughal emperor Humayun’s tomb followed by a photo shoot at the India Gage and a drive through the New Delhi area – through the diplomatic enclave, Government buildings – Parliament House, India Gate. End the tour after you have visited the Sikh Temple (Bangla Sahib) and Birla Temple. Later your vehicle and driver remain with you until
    dropped off at airport to connect flight back home.
